Environmental Sampling and Testing
Testing Air Quality, ambient and toxic gases
According to WHO, air pollution is one the most harmful environmental risks to human health which can cause both long term and short term health complications. The main air pollutants include:
- Ozone (O3)
- Nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
- Sulfur dioxide (SO2)
- Particulate matter (PM10 & PM2.5): are airborne particles such as dirt, dust and smoke which can be emitted by vehicles, factories, construction works and combustion. There are 2 types of particulate pollution: PM10 and PM2.5 both of which are inhalable with the latter causing greater health risks.
Real time measurements of emission gases:
- Fence Line monitoring: using our specialised UV-DOAS Fence line technology, we are able to remotely measure gases in real time. Such specialised technology consists of a laser beam which measures any gas particles which come into contact with the beam, therefore can be used to such as to measure emissions from ships, cars and other vehicles.
